Over the past 15 years, Lacey Phelps has recorded in eleven countries on three continents. In addition to recording for NPR’s Pipe Dreams (Internationally Syndicated Broadcast), Phelps can be heard playing principal trumpet on the 2023 world premiere recording of Heather Sorenson’s REQUIEM as well as Debra Scroggins’ Magnificat. DFW Brass has recorded for Hal Leonard and Phelps is the featured trumpet soloist on Hodie, a Choral Masterwork by Z. Randall Stroope. DFW Brass recorded an extensive Brass Chamber Music Series for Astriaos Chamber Music in Lewisville, TX in 2022. Additionally, Dr. Phelps can also be heard on multiple DVDs, including: The Legacy, a documentary film where she can be heard playing principal trumpet on Bartok's "Concerto for Orchestra" under the baton of Gustavo Dudamel (Lobo Productions) which was videoed throughout Central and South America, and Messa Da Requiem with Placido Domingo conducting Verdi's Requiem which was recorded and videoed in Munich, Germany (Glor Music Productions).
